THIS 4-WEEK COURSE MEETS SEPTEMBER 22 & 29 AND OCTOBER 6 & 13

Learn the fundamentals of the portraiture process with artist Rob Fairburn! Using acrylic paints, students will explore value, color theory, the importance method with an emphasis on process. Students will begin by learning about the “blue layer,” the importance of sculpting shape and value, and create an underpainting. Students will then move on the expanding their color palettes and understanding the importance of highlights and shadows.
