In this fun, 2-hour workshop, instructor Christa Chautin will guide students through the art of jewelry making. This workshop is designed to give you a night off from your stresses and experience the joy of the art of jewelry making. No prior experience or skill is necessary. You will get the choice to make two pieces of jewelry – a necklace, bracelet, or a pair of earrings. All necessary tools will be provided, as well as an array of beautiful beads and charms to adorn your pieces.
Students can also bring your own tools and findings if you are more comfortable doing so. This workshop is a perfect way to bond with family, friends, and coworkers! Come take part in this exciting jewelry making party!

Christa F. Chautin has been an artist forever and a jewelry designer for the past 17 years. She has sold her art and jewelry at the St. Tammany Art Association for the past 13 years, she has also sold her items at various art markets and shops and galleries around St. Tammany Parish.  She creates mostly mixed media and acrylic art along with jewelry. She has also taught jewelry making classes for the St. Tammany Parish Library and St. Tammany Art Association. She has sold and displayed at various shops and galleries around St. Tammany Parish and beyond. Her art has also been on display at the Spring Art Show at Nunez Community College, the gallery at Covington City Hall and in the City of Slidell’s 27 th Annual Mixed Media Show Juried Exhibition and the St. Tammany Parish Library’s Staff Art Show. It has also been on display at St. John’s Coffee. She has also sold at Spring for Art and Bastille Day in the STAA Art Markets.
