Gets hands-on and creative this Mardi Gras season! Wednesdays Jan 30 & Feb 6 from 6:00-8:00PM

Local ceramicist Adrienne Walker introduces hand-building sculpture and glazing to guide you through creating Mardi Gras masks. These masks can hang alone as ceramic art and are the perfect decorative pieces to impress all of your Mardi Gras guests.

This 2 week class will be an introduction to clay and the many different forms that can be created with hand-building techniques. Students will be given a pre-made mask made by Adrienne Walker to glaze, decorate and embellish as he/she chooses.

A demonstration on how to prepare clay and techniques on forming a mask will be covered, as well as the planning and laying out a successful project.

These classes  are formatted to build on technique and develop skills for the emerging potter that wants to pursue the creative freedom of ceramic hand-building.

*Price includes a one-of-a-kind Adrienne Walker bisque fired mask, variety of glazes, and all decorative supplies.
