This four-week course meets wednesday october 29, november 5, & 12

In this beginner-level course, students will create a 6”x6” stained glass mosaic. Tools, materials, and safety practices in mosaic art will be discussed. A choice of designs as well as all materials and tools are provided, but the student may also bring their own (the design will need to fit a 6x6 substrate). This class is designed to give the student enough information and practice to continue with mosaics on their own. The student will finish their piece in three classes:

Week 1. Introduction to materials and their safe use
Week 2: Transferring the design to a substrate and adhering the pieces
Week 3: Grouting
