Open Pottery Studio allows individuals with previous pottery knowledge to freely create new works of art! A studio monitor will be in attendance to answer questions and provide advice, but only minimal instruction is provided. Students receive as much low-fire Gator White clay as they need for $1.00/lb, use of the pottery wheel, slab roller, and all tools and glazes. Students may also bring any low-fire clay, low-fire glazes, and tools, they may want to use. STAA will handle all bisque and glaze firing on site. Firings will take place at the end of the third and fourth weeks of studio, so make sure your pieces are bone dry and ready! Any additional firings will be a $15 charge per firing to the student.
