Introduction to Jewelry Making

Saturdays April 20, 27, and May 4, 11 from 11AM - 1PM.

In this fun 4-week course, instructor Christa Chautin will guide you through the art of jewelry making. This course is designed with the beginner in mind. Each week you will be taught the basics of jewelry making and leave with not only a new skill set, but also new jewelry that’s ready to wear!

Week 1: Basic Jewelry Practice 101

Week 2: Charming: Basic Beading and Basic Wire Work

Week 3: Beading a Bracelet and/or Starting a Necklace

Week 4: Beading and Completing a Necklace or Free Project Day

Get to know your instructor: Christa F. Chautin is an artist and has been a jewelry designer for the past 11 years. She has sold her art and jewelry at the St. Tammany Art Association for the past 7 years.
