In this six-hour workshop, students will learn two book forms. Each student will make a hardcover Codex bound book and a softcover double pamphlet book. The Codex was the historical ancestor of the modern book. Often used for handwritten manuscripts, the ancient Codex book bound materials other than traditional paper, like papyrus or vellum.
